Hi, my name is Xander Terrin Chen; a freelance makeup artist and creative working and living on the unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations, also known as “Vancouver”.
I strive to achieve a unique balance of creative vision, collaboration, and compassion within my work and on set. With a love of story-telling and the exploration of expression, I’ve been able to work and grow alongside like minded creatives not only locally but globally as well. I’ve spent the last 6+ years working in the film, fashion, music, commercial, and retail industries developing a wide range of skills, knowledge, and experience and would love to bring that with me into the next set, event, glam session or lesson.
